Privacy Policy
Protecting your privacy is important to us. On this page, you can familiarise yourself with Ausganica.fi (Millenial Oy)'s principles for processing personal data and cookies. Your privacy is important to us.
Everyone values their privacy, and for clients using legal services, privacy is certainly of paramount importance. Although we serve almost exclusively corporate and organisational clients, our operations require the collection, storage, and processing of personal data. However, individuals handle matters on behalf of companies. As a data controller, we specifically process the personal data of our client companies' contacts and other personnel. Personal data includes all information related to an identified or identifiable person, such as name, email address, photograph, or job title.
Ausganica Finland processes personal data related to its clients and potential clients in accordance with this privacy statement and applicable data protection legislation. We may also update this privacy statement as our operations develop or as legislation changes. We may also sometimes act as a personal data processor, as defined by data protection legislation, for our clients who act as data controllers. In these cases, the principles for processing personal data are described in our client's privacy statements, so please refer to them if necessary. If we act or intend to act as a processor of our client's personal data, it is always based on a service and data protection agreement between us and the client organisation, and in such cases, we process the client's personal data solely for and on behalf of that client as long as we have a valid agreement.

For what purposes do we collect personal data and on what grounds do we process it?
We collect, store, and process personal data only for pre-defined purposes. We always ensure that we have at least one lawful basis for storing and processing personal data. The main purposes and grounds for processing personal data are:
Provision and delivery of our services. We collect and process personal data related to the provision and delivery of our services. We receive and process personal data during contact requests. During a customer relationship, we process personal data specifically for customer relationship management, service delivery, invoicing, debt collection, and handling feedback. For these actions, the legal bases for processing personal data are particularly the fulfillment and preparation of a contract, compliance with legal obligations (e.g., accounting, taxation), and our legitimate interest.
Identification and service of registered users. Some of our services, such as downloadable documents, online courses, or other similar content, are available on our website only to contracted clients and registered users. We also collect personal data to provide these services and to identify the person using the service, as such services are based on the identification of a registered user. In this regard, the lawful bases for processing personal data are particularly the contract and its performance, as well as our legitimate interest.
Marketing and customer communications. We strive to find new clients for our services and market them particularly on social media, search engines, and other digital channels, and we may conduct direct marketing or customer communications, especially via email. We may also create profiles or target advertising or marketing based on what individuals have previously been interested in or where they have visited. Implementing these requires the processing and collection of personal data. We may also publish customer stories in our marketing channels, at the core of which are individuals using our services. Personal data may also be processed to analyse and measure the effectiveness of marketing and website usage. Marketing may also include automated decision-making and profiling. The lawful bases for this are particularly our legitimate interest, and in some parts, possibly consent. However, individuals always have the option to prohibit direct marketing, regardless of whether it is based on consent or not.
Service development. Our business idea is to lower the threshold for using services and, through technology and digital services, make legal services more easily, efficiently, and also affordably available to more companies and entrepreneurs. We may collect and process personal data to develop services in accordance with this business idea. This can happen, for example, by analysing the use of our services or by conducting surveys or studies. Our lawful basis for this is particularly our legitimate interest.
Legal obligations, legal claims. We may also process personal data to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., accounting, taxation) and to prepare or respond to legal claims, as well as to prevent or investigate fraud.
What personal data does Ausganica Finland collect? From what sources is information obtained?
We primarily collect and process personal data related only to our clients' contact and project personnel, as well as our potential clients. We collect personal data related to our clients and potential clients mainly from the individuals themselves. For new potential clients, we may also collect so-called prospect data, for example, from LinkedIn, company websites, or by using prospecting tools (e.g., LeadFeeder or Albacross). For potential and existing clients, a significant source of personal data is our website and the contact forms on it. We also collect information related to the use of our website through the Google Analytics service. During a customer relationship, information is also generated and collected, but mainly related to client companies.
