Ausganica was founded out of a love for nature, plants, and the enjoyment they bring. Through her personal experiences, founder Moreen Liao wanted to create a unique experience where you can sense and enjoy natural plants, especially through their fragrance.

The Ausganica story begins in Moreen Liao's youth, when she enjoyed combining different plants and their scents.

Thanks to her grandparents, Liao realized already in her youth how effective plants and herbs were for human health and well-being – both physically and mentally. She drew inspiration from her own experiences.

The Best Natural Care from Australia

Liao's inspiration and passion were reinforced in Australia, where she visited during her studies. While still studying, Liao founded her first cosmetics company, selling homemade soaps. This was her first genuine contact with essential oils and ingredient blending.

A few years after graduation, she moved to Australia and began working in the natural beauty industry. At the same time, she studied herbal medicine and became a certified aromatherapist. Her experiences in Australia strengthened her early belief that people should live in harmony with nature, and this ultimately inspired Liao to name her brand Ausganica, meaning "Natural Care from Australia."

Before founding Ausganica, Moreen worked for an Australian multinational cosmetics supplier and contract manufacturer, where she regularly designed products – even entire product ranges – for clients according to their wishes. This company carried vast varieties of herbal medicines and aromatic oils.

Liao noticed how brands often took shortcuts with ingredient quality, efficacy, and price. Often, it was just about getting something that looked good on the label. She felt dissatisfaction and challenged herself to imagine the possibilities in the industry if time, money, or expertise were not limitations.

At Ausganica, only the best means no shortcuts are taken. The use of water and chemical-based fillers is avoided. Nothing harmful to the body and the planet is viewed favorably, and as many high-quality, health-benefiting ingredients as possible are used in the products.

Ausganica proves that natural products have power and are indeed effective. Years of development have gone into the products. Several experts have been involved, including those in skincare and hair care. Only suppliers of natural raw materials are used.
